2. Which data categories we collect and treat, how do we collect them and with what treatment purpose do we do it?

How do we collect the personal information? 

When users make use of the platform and, specifically when the platform requests certain personal data that are provided by the users, this information is collected and processed by PEGI Engineering.

The use of the different forms and functionalities enabled in the Web Platform is voluntary. However, some fields are required to attend correctly your petition and in this case, correct provisiono of the service, so that the refusal of the User to enable the information required in the mandatory fields will prevent PEGI ENGINEERING from attending to your request and carrying out the provisiono of contacted services.

The user certifies that the information provided is true, exact, full and updated, being responsable of any damage or loss, direct or indirect, that could be caused as a consequence of the incompliment of the breach of such obligation.

¿Which categories of information do we process?

PEGI ENGINEERING treats the following data categories collected as detailed:

  • Identifying information: name, surname, postal address, email address, zip code, telephone, all of them provided through our contact form. In the case of the email address we also treat this information in case of subscription to our newsletter, as well as when sending emails to our email address provided in the Platform.
  • Identifying data: education/certificates, student expedient, profesional experience, in the case of provided data in our employment section.
  • Metadata of electronic communications
  • Economic, financial or banking data

In case that the user provides data of third parties, expressly acknowledges having their consent and propr to the inclusión or communication of their data to PEGI ENGINEERING, and undertakes to transfer the information contained in this clause, exempting to PEGI ENGINEERING of any responsability in this regard. However, PEGI ENGINEERING may carry out the verifications to verify this fact, adopting the corresponding due diligence measures, in accordance with the data protection regulations.

¿With which purpose do we process your information?

PEGI ENGINEERING will treat the user's data, manually and / or automated, provided by the user through the forms and functionalities of the Platform in order to meet and answer the questions raised, manage the hiring of services that perform through the Platform, as well as the corresponding billing. Send electronic communications about services, events and news related to our professional activity, provided that the user has shown consent and unless the user indicates otherwise or opposes or revokes their consent. Submit commercial and / or promotional information related to the contracted services sector, unless otherwise indicated or the user opposes or revokes their consent.

In the cases of data provided through the employment channel of our Platform, or provided in the description of any job offer, in this case, they will be treated for the evaluation and management of your profile and application in relation to the job offer, both current and possible future offers, carried out by PEGI ENGINEERING. 

Finally, personal data will be processed to comply with the legally established obligations, as well as to verify compliance with contractual obligations, including the prevention of fraud.

3. To which destinators will your data be communicated?

PEGI ENGINEERING inform the users that their data could be communicated to the rest of the Group entities in order to be able to attend their requests, manage the services you hire and inform about services, events and news related to our profesional activity.

Additionally, we inform that some specific data, within the framework of the current regulations or the contractual relationship that you maintain with PEGI ENGINEERING, can be communicated to:

  • Public administrations with competence in the activity sectors of PEGI ENGINEERING, when established by current regulations.
  • The State Security Forces and Corps by virtue of the provisions of the Law.
  • Banks and financial entities for the collection of the services offered.
  • Other legal professionals, when such communication is required by law, or for the execution of the contracted services.

4. Which is the legitimacy of the treatments?

The legitimacy from PEGI ENGINEERING to carry out the processing of the data of the users finds in the consent of the interested party, requested for the specific case, including the consent given for the treatment of the data in the Employment Section of our Platform.

The management of the contracting of services, payment, billing and corresponding shipments is legitimized by the execution of the contract itself.

The treatment of the data in order to send electronic bulletins about services, events and news related to our professional activity, is based on the legitimate interest of PEGI ENGINEERING to carry out said treatments in accordance with current regulations.

Finally, and where appropriate, the user's information may be used to comply with the legal obligations of PEGI ENGINEERING.

5. How long do we keep your data? 

PEGI ENGINEERING will keep the personal data of the users only during the necessary time to attend and process the information requested, provide the contracted services, and, in general, to carry out the purposes for which they were collected, and as long as it does not revoke the consents granted.

Once the aforementioned deadlines have elapsed, the personal data of the users may be blocked and maintained by PEGI ENGINEERING for the attention of the possible responsibilities arising from the treatment and exclusively during the limitation period of said responsibilities. After said time, the personal data will be deleted by PEGI ENGINEERING.

In case of the data that you provide us in relation to the job offers in which you wish to subscribe, they will be kept for twelve months, from the date of the last update. After this period, without having been updated, the data will be deleted, unless you indicate otherwise.

6. Recipients of your personal data

PEGI ENGINEERING informs the user that their data will not be communicated to third parties except banks and finantial institutions for the collection of services rendered, and other professionals of the legal field, when such communication is required normatively, or for the execution of the contracted services.

Which rights does the interested party have?

The user can, at any time, and for free, either by sending an electronic communication to pgiengineering@pgiengineering.com or by writing to PEGI ENGINEERING on Calle Carbonell, 1 - 08003 BARCELONA, exercise the following rights:

  • Revoke the consents granted. Obtain information about whether PEGI ENGINEERING is treating personal data that concerns you or not.
  • Access your personal data.
  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Request the suppression of your data when, among other reasons, the data is no longer necessary for the purposes that were collected.
  • Obtain from PEGI ENGINEERING the limitation of the treatment of the data when any of the conditions provided in the data protection regulations are some of the conditions are met.
