BIM
BIM for the design and coordination of installations
The PGI Engineering design team is fully prepared in terms of structure, software and hardware for the development of projects in BIM. PGI Engineering develops the design of installations following BIM standards in projects where all the teams work under this methodology, however there are some projects where PGI Engineering takes the initiative to use it due to the degree of coordination that is achieved at spatial and geometrical level, in the entire, or specific parts of the project.

Service details
In the projects that PGI Engineering develops in BIM, the LOD (Level of Detail) of the elements represented is determined, such as the overall objective of the modeling: 3D, 4D, 5D, 6D, so that they are integrated into the model of aspects that go beyond spatial coordination.
At the beginning of every project, the BIM Management department defines and reviews the BIM objectives as a part of the client's requirements:
- 3D: Spatial coordination between facilities, with structure and architecture/civil work.
- 4D: Incorporation of work planning parameters in execution phases.
- 5D: Incorporation into the measurements and budget model.
- 6D: Preparation of the model for the operation and maintenance of the building.
The objective is to obtain a model of the building's facilities, as part of an integral evolutionary model, from which in each phase of the development (Conceptual, Detail Design, Constructive Design, Work Execution and Exploitation) the correct information can be generated.
